The expansion work continued at the track this afternoon. We rented a lift from Cedar Street Rentals to disconnect the power from the poles that will be removed. Thank you to Jake Starr, Mike Valencia and Randy Goetz for your work today.
Work will start early tomorrow. Chip Ayres is bringing the excavator and we will dig the trenches necessary to bury the conduit for the relocated power lines. John Kreckman will be up in the lift disconnecting the old power lines. It’s is guaranteed to be a mud pit tomorrow, so if you plan to join us on this super warm day please wear your boots! We will need help disassembling the guardrail and we will also start to take inventory of what we have. We’ll need the good pieces separated from the bad, so that we know how much more we’ll need to acquire. I hope to see you there!
